Sahara City Homes launched

The project "Sahara City Homes" was launched in ten cities on Sunday to coincide with the birth day of Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara, Managing Worker & Chairman, Sahara India Pariwar.

Speaking on the occasion, Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara said these would be self-sufficient integrated townships under the brand name of 'Sahara City Homes' and 'Sahara Grace'. The project is spread in about 900 acres and would house 25,000 families.

Fifty eight projects would be launched in the year 2012-13 and these would be extended to 350 cities in due course.Out of 58 projects, 21 will be township projects and 37 projects will belong to affordable housing segment.

The cost of the house has been kept affordable as it ranges from Rs 5.50 lakh to 12 lakh.

Emphasizing the difference between house and home Saharasri said we believe in making home which answers the dwelling needs of a family in a comprehensive manner. He pointed out that once the Sahara City Homes come into being it would make it compulsory for the local builders to come up with lifestyle houses.

Each home would have 24 hours supply of water and electricity, provision of security, play ground for children, health centres, metal roads and other lifestyle features.

Saharasri Subrata Roy Sahara said on this occasion that Ambi Valley was meant for rich people, Sahara City Holmes are for middle class people and low cost homes would cater to the needs of lower income group people.

The cities where these projects were launched include Pune, Aurangabad, Solapur, Jodhpur, Gwalior, Katni, Barely, Porbandar, Kashipur and Cuttack.
